In October/November 2011 I was a visiting professor at ITU in Copenhagen, where I launched a project on crowd computer interaction. Now I'm back in Bristol and normal service has been resumed at Tim Kindberg Consulting and matter 2 media where I am continuing to work on a touch-based platform (location-based services are so yesterday...).

matter 2 media is based at the Pervasive Media Studio where I was research director until recently. Before that, I was a senior researcher at HP Labs, Bristol, UK and Palo Alto, USA; and a visiting professor in the Computer Science department at the University of Bath.

Interests: artistic/creative applications of technology, based on my work on {urban, nomadic, ubiquitous, distributed} computing.

This site contains links to my projects, publications and other research activities.
